✅ Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open Outlook and Access Settings

  • Launch Outlook.

  • Click the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner.

Step 2: Click "Add Account"

  • Under the Accounts section, click Add account.

Note: If this is your first time opening New Outlook, you may see prompts for optional data sharing or preferences. Complete those steps to continue.

Step 3: Enter Your Email Address

  • Type in the email address you want to configure (e.g., [email protected]).

  • Click Continue.

Step 4: Enter Password and Server Settings

  • Type in your email password (same one used for Webmail).

  • Click Show more to expand the manual settings section.

Enter the following:

Incoming Mail (IMAP):

  • Server: mail.yourdomain.co.zw

  • Port: 993

  • Encryption: SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mail (SMTP):

  • Server: mail.yourdomain.co.zw

  • Port: 465

  • Encryption: SSL/TLS

  • Username: Your full email address

  • Password: Same as above

Click Continue.

Step 5: Sync Your Account

  • Click Continue to allow Outlook to sync your mailbox.

⚠️ You may receive a security notification about a new login attempt — this is normal as Microsoft uses external servers to verify your connection.

Step 6: All Done!

  • Your account is now added. Click Done and start using your inbox.

Important Tip:

If you're switching from POP or making changes to your account, it’s highly recommended to back up your emails to avoid any loss of data.
